The Berkshire Bank Announces New Regional Manager for the Hudson Valley Area

Gerard Loughren, Assistant Vice President and long time resident of the Hudson Valley community, has been named Regional Manager for The Berkshire Bank’s Hudson Valley division.  Mr. Loughren obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the prestigious New York Institute of Technology and started his career in a management training program at Ridgewood Savings Bank.  His distinguished career also included positions at Chemical Bank and Warwick Savings Bank before joining The Berkshire Bank as Branch Manager of its Goshen branch in 2004.

When asked what made Mr. Loughren such a valuable part of The Berkshire Bank team, Moses Krausz, President and CEO said “Mr. Loughren has been a resident of the local community for over 25 years and has over 30 years of experience in banking.  He has a personal knowledge of the products and services which would most benefit the residents of the Hudson Valley area and works with them to develop the right account package to suit their banking needs.”  Gerald Loughren agreed, saying “One of the things I love most about my job is when I meet fellow residents. I am proud to be part of this community for so many years and serving this community is an integral part of my position here at the Bank.”
