The Ridgefield branch of The Berkshire Bank today hosted an event that celebrated local children’s artwork.  Parents and children were invited to attend a viewing of the artwork and take part in some light refreshments.

With help from Mr. Mercandidno, Slocum Skewes School’s art teacher, his 4th to 8th graders artwork was placed on display at the branch. The event was organized to thank the school and the pupils for their hard work and to get everyone together to celebrate their artistic talent.

“We wanted to organize an event to show our appreciation to local residents, their children and the local school. We had a great turn out and the evening was a huge success”. said Arjeta Marku, Branch Manager.  Parents expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to show their children’s artwork and want to know when we can do it again”. continued Arjeta
