The Berkshire Bank is now in New Jersey

Today was a momentous day in the history of The Berkshire Bank as the Bank opened its first branch in New Jersey. Situated on a major thoroughfare at 600 Broad Avenue in Ridgefield New Jersey, this eleventh branch location is easily accessible by car and public transportation in Bergen County and joins ten other branch facilities in New York City, Orange County, and Sullivan County.

With close to one billion dollars in assets, The Berkshire Bank stands out among other banks because it offers highly personalized service and competitive products. “We do not believe in voicemail and any customer can speak directly to an officer of the Bank without bureaucratic delays,” said Moses Krausz, President and CEO of The Berkshire Bank. “We also believe in efficient service and offering our clients a variety of products and services that will suit their banking needs. We are the Bank that puts your interest first.”

After 18 successful years in New York City and over 130 years in Hudson Valley, it was only natural that The Berkshire Bank chose to expand into the neighboring state of New Jersey. “We are excited to offer this opportunity to our friends and neighbors in the Garden State”, said Krausz.

The Berkshire Bank is a New York State chartered, FDIC insured commercial bank with branches in New York City, Orange County, and Sullivan County in New York and now in Bergen County in New Jersey. For more information about the Bank or its products, visit its website at www.berkbank.com
