The Berkshire Bank Is Coming To Avenue J

Moses Krausz, President and CEO of The Berkshire Bank, announced that The Berkshire Bank will open its tenth branch and its fourth location in Brooklyn, at 1119 Avenue J, in the fall of 2005. Since the Bank was first founded in 1989, it has grown to include branches in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Orange, and Sullivan counties.

“We are excited to expand upon our current presence in Brooklyn with this new branch located at 1119 Avenue J” said Krausz. With this new branch, conveniently located on Avenue J, a major shopping thoroughfare in the Midwood section of Brooklyn, between Coney Island Avenue and East 12th Street, finding a convenient location to bank couldn’t be easier. The Berkshire Bank’s other Brooklyn branches are at 5010 13th Avenue, 1421 Kings Highway, and 4917 16th Avenue. Its Manhattan branches are at 4 East 39th Street and 5 Broadway. Its Hudson Valley branches include 2 South Church Street in Goshen, 80 Route 17M in Harriman, and 60 Main Street in Bloomingburg.

The new Avenue J branch will offer the same high quality, personalized service that you find at other Berkshire Bank locations, including highly competitive CD rates, savings accounts, and business accounts.

The Berkshire Bank is a New York State chartered; FDIC insured commercial bank headquartered at 4 East 39th Street. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Bancorp, Inc., a publicly traded company, whose stock trades on the NASDAQ National Market under the symbol BERK.
