September 14, 2005 Ira Mermelstein Joins The Berkshire Bank
Moses Krausz, President and CEO of The Berkshire Bank, announced the appointment of Ira Mermelstein as a Vice President in the bank’s lending division. Mr. Mermelstein has over 25 years of banking experience with Bank of America and Bankers Trust and specializes in asset-based lending.
The Berkshire Bank has proudly offered asset-based lending and commercial loans since it was first founded as a New York State Chartered, FDIC insured commercial bank in 1989. Today, the bank has expanded to 9 branch locations in New York and is excited to have Mr. Mermelstein working in its asset-based lending and loan division.
