The Berkshire Bank was founded in 1989 on one basic principal, to be ‘the Bank that puts your interest first”. As we celebrate our 20th Year Anniversary and over a billion dollars in assets, we continue to introduce new products and services to live up to our reputation as a true community bank.
And our tradition extends even further when we acquired Goshen Savings Bank in 2001. Goshens Savings Bank was established in 1871 when a group of prominent citizens got together to form a savings bank for their local community.
We are proud of our history and tradition and community banking to us means providing products, advice and services to our clients to help them achieve their financial goals. We understand the goals of the communities we serve and we are committed to them for the long term.
